| The slings are absolutely necessary for non-automatic hot galvanizing process. However its use has some disadvantages, forexample, difficultly skimming zinc ash on molten zinc surface and influencing surface quality, more forming zinc slag due to the reaction between sling and molten zinc, increasing the iron content in molten zinc and decreasing its fluidness. After several times of use, the zinc on sling must be removed in acid and thus zinc and acid is greatly wasted.
